Cable to Rebar Connections

There are many types of wire connections to rebars, some of which are listed below. In addition, mould selection tables, welding powder, and mould handle clamps for some of these connections are also listed next pages.

Horizontal Cable to Horizontal Rebar Terminal Connection (CA-E)

CA-E Moulds are used for wire to rebar connection.
FEATURE:
• Horizontal wire to horizontal rebar straight connection.
• Concentric stranded copper wire unless otherwise noted
• Solid conductor may be copper or copper-clad.

Horizontal Cable Tap to Vertical Rebar (CA-TL)

CA-TL Moulds are used for wire end to rebar connection.
FEATURE:
• Horizontal wire terminal to vertical rebar connection.
• Concentric stranded copper wire unless otherwise noted
• Solid conductor may be copper or copper-clad.

Horizontal Cable Tap to Horizontal Rebar Run (CA-TH)

CA-TH Moulds are used for wire end to rebar connection.
FEATURE:
• Horizontal wire terminal to horizontal rebar connection.

Horizontal Cable to Horizontal Rebar Cross Connection (CA-XS)

CA-XS Moulds are used for wire to rebar “X” connection.
FEATURE:
• Horizontal wire to horizontal rebar cross connection.
• Concentric stranded copper wire unless otherwise noted
• Solid conductor may be copper or copper-clad.
