Welding Mould Accessories
Commonly Used Handle Clamp (NHC)
This type of Mould Handle Clamp is used for most moulds. Petunia production Handle Clamps are designed in three sizes and can be easily used for all mould sizes.
CP Mould Handle Clamp (PHC)
Petunia's PHC mould handles are used to hold the mould on the pipe during the heat welding reaction of the wire to pipe connection at the cathodic protection joints. During the reaction, the mould and the pipe must be utterly tangent so that the material does not leak from the space between them.
Railway Mould Handle Clamp (TRU)
These Handle Clamps manufactured by Petunia Company are used to fasten the mould to the rail during Thermo welding reaction. The Handle is designed so that the welding of the molten material does not leak from the space between the mould and the rail.
Sheet Support Handle Clamp (VSC)
The VSC type Mould Handle Clamps of the Petunia are used to hold the mould on a vertical surface during the heat welding reaction. The handle clamp is designed to overlap the mould to the surface during the reaction completely and does not need to be held by hand.
Magnetic Handle Clamp (MTR)
The PETUNIA moulds can be securely held to a large flat or slightly curved vertical surface using the Magnetic Handle Clamp. So the Magnetic Clamp is used to hold a mold in position on a vertical steel surface.
Chain Handle Clamp (CTR)
The PETUNIA chain clamps can be securely held for assembly mould on pipe or metallic structure in vertical position.
“PetWeld” Mould Warmer (TFG)
The TFG gas torch should be used to heat the mould when it is cold, as well as to remove moisture or possibly oil from the conductors and areas where the thermite welding operation will be performed.
Copper Wire Change Sleeve (SQ)
Wire sleeves are used to change the size of the wire when the mould hole is larger than the size of the wire on which the thermite welding operation is to be performed. These sleeves are made of copper and are available in a variety of sizes.
Mould Sealer (MS)
Mould Sealer is ideal for sealing hot or cold moulds to retard leakage from large stranded conductors. It is required on certain moulds such as types wire to rebar and wire to plate and pipe. It prolongs useful mould life when the wire opening becomes worn.
“PetWeld” Mould Cleaning Tools (CTKA)
A Petunia cleaning kit is used to clean thermite welding surfaces from any solid or oxide pollution. It is also necessary that after the thermite welding operation, the mould is cleaned of welding contaminants with a scraper tool and a soft brush in order to prepare for the next welding. In the cleaning kit, a lighter is also placed to light the wick or torch.
